Developing Leadership Potential
This session is offered for managers and first line supervisors who are either new to leadership or were not given tools to be a leader. Often high performing employees get promoted for their talent and skills associated with doing their job, then find themselves unprepared and challenged to direct the work of others vs doing the work themselves. This session is for those who need to adopt a leadership mindset in order to better deliver exciting team results with less stress. A common challenge for newer managers is creating healthy boundaries between themselves and their teams. This session will also address the pitfalls of the buddy/boss relationship. When managers are not equipped with the tools to lead, they burn out fast.
This thought-provoking session will help you with 1) Understanding the 5 levels of leadership and your leadership style 2) Discovering your strengths and blind spots and 3) Learning the secret of coaching people for performance change.
