Myron A. Harmon, who is currently the Vice President of Human Resources, joined Dale Carnegie and Associates in a permanent role as the Human Resources Director in September 2017. Prior to then, Myron supported Dale Carnegie’s HR Function in a consulting role from November 2015.

 

Myron brings to us over 20 years of experience as a Human Resources Senior Leader. His experience in the HR world is broad and deep. He has had responsibility for all areas of HR including recruitment, where he established best practices and guidelines to assist with Talent Acquisition processes. His style and approach to engaging and supporting leaders and their teams by helping them to focus on their training and development, has served him well as a thought partner. He has provided excellent value to teams by encouraging ongoing one-on-one meetings that help to support performance management and the rapport between managers and their teams. Also, he provides guidance in compensation administration, benefits, and organizational policy design.

 

Another benefit for Dale Carnegie is that Myron also understands the industry in which we operate. He spent 16 years at AchieveGlobal as a member of the executive team, where he was responsible for all aspects of employee relations and services. He has worldwide experience as an HR practitioner, leading the integration of eight companies with combined office locations in over 30 countries, and has managed and led HR business partners in EMEA and APAC.

 

Myron’s passion is leading change by enabling and fostering an environment of collaboration and psychological safety by providing hands-on leadership and coaching to leaders, employees, and teams. He is a strategic partner to the business, an employee advocate, and a positive change agent. He attended University of South Florida, Tampa, FL and majored in Business Administration.
