Carnegie Workshop Series: New Management Skills for the Self-Directed Work Environment

This workshop will provide participants with techniques for being successful in the new self-directed paradigm. It demonstrates how to get the most out of a team by treating its members more as colleagues and less as direct reports. Managers will learn how to create a rewarding work environment, provide the tools teams need to be successful, remove obstacles, and guide and lead activities rather than control them.
