Susan Spader is President/CEO of Dale Carnegie Training Charlotte & Western North Carolina which covers 42 counties in North Carolina – from the Charlotte Metro Area to the mountain counties. Susan joined Dale Carnegie in 2000 and starred in various sales and management roles. She acquired the franchise territory in 2012.
Susan delivers all of Dale Carnegie’s core programs and creates customized Corporate Solutions. As a testament to her training expertise, she is ranked as one of the top trainers in the Dale Carnegie global organization. Susan’s specialized knowledge in finance, manufacturing, construction, information technology, healthcare and service industries allows her to work closely with more than 500 clients in the Charlotte and Western North Carolina area. She builds strong relationships and gains in-depth understanding of her client’s businesses, enabling her to build enduring partnerships with her clients.
Susan earned a B.S. in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition to her continued commitment to Dale Carnegie Training, Susan actively participates in her local community. She continues to pursue the fickle game of golf.
Chris creates real relationships with clients to truly understand their needs and goals. Chris also oversees the Dale Carnegie Training sales processes to form solid support systems that address everything from logistical issues to client growth paths.
Chris’s professional journey included presidency of a marketing strategy firm and management and sales positions with multiple media organizations in Ohio, Texas, and North Carolina. He developed his own coaching and facilitating talents through Dale Carnegie Training and sought to align his personal and professional goals.
Chris developed his enthusiasm for leadership and mediation while achieving a B.S. in Business Management from Guilford College. He expanded his passion for improving companies and effecting people’s lives while earning his M.B.A. from Wake Forest University.
Chris isn’t sure that, “Foodie,” is the right term to use, but admits that he learned what GOOD food is from the talented women in his life and he is definitely the guy to ask for a recommendation for a new restaurant.
Susan encourages clients to see beyond the right now and to envision the possibilities. Susan’s professional path included a variety of roles within Volvo Cars where she began her career in parts and service. Her talents soon led to added responsibilities in management, customer service, training, sales, marketing, and finance. Susan’s skills and commitment to improvement eventually led to her relocation to Charlotte.
Always one to recognize the importance of change, Susan took an opportunity to develop her inherent coaching abilities and earned her Career Management Coach certification. Her personal mission (to help business leaders and teams reach their professional and personal goals) is a great fit for her talents as a Dale Carnegie Trainer.
Susan honed her business acumen while earning her bachelor degree at Nyack College and her MBA at Nyack School of Business, Computer Science and Communication in Nyack, NY. She is an Associate Certified Coach recognized through the International Coaching Federation.
Susan played tennis through childhood and into college and credits her competitive background with her ability to pick up on what drives clients to excel.
