Q3: What’s the difference between the immersion format and time-phased format?
Dale Carnegie’s diverse program formats cater to various learning styles and schedules.
Immersion refers to full consecutive days in the same week. Time-phased refers to programs that meet once a week for multiple consecutive weeks. The immersion format offers convenience and accessibility, whereas the time-phased format provides week-over-week progression with smaller time commitments. The content is nearly identical across each format.
Whether you prefer the focused, immersive experience or the gradual, week-over-week progression, our content remains consistently high in quality across all formats and our trainers will ensure you see results for your effort. It’s about finding the right fit for your lifestyle and learning preference.
Q5: Does Dale Carnegie offer subscription-based training?

Yes! The program is called Generation.Next and you can learn more on the Youth & Teen webpage. This program is primarily offered during summer months in Dale Carnegie’s training center in Atlanta, GA.

Q9: What are Dale Carnegie’s payment options?
When registering on our website, two payment options are available:
- Pay upon enrollment with a credit or debit card
- Elect to receive an invoice
If you choose an invoice, our accounting team will email an invoice to you within 10 business days.
You may pay by credit card, debit card, or ACH. We do not accept cash or checks.
We do not offer payment plans or incremental payment pathways at this time.
Payment is due by Session 1 unless otherwise authorized.
Q10: What is the attendance policy?

Our time-phased programs are designed with flexibility for life’s unexpected moments. Our immersion programs require full attendance.
Qhen absences happen, we're here to help with make-up sessions. Our training department has a coordinator that will work with you personally to schedule your make-up sessions.
If you know you will miss a session, please alert your local contact or trainer.
We offer volume discounts for public program enrollments starting at groups of 6+ enrollments upon request. Aside from volume discounts, we do not offer other common discounts (student, senior, first-responder, etc).
Members of the U.S. government and armed forces can find discounted pricing available through GSA.

Q13: How do I go about rescheduling or cancelling my enrollment?
If you've had communications with a Dale Carnegie rep, please contact them directly.

After Your Program
Q14: Upon completion of the program, will I receive a certificate? If so, is it digital or physical?
The Certificate of Achievement is awarded upon meeting all program qualifications, which are detailed in the Attendance Policy in our Terms and Conditions .
In Person programs offer a physical certificate. Live Online programs provide a digital certificate.
Q15: I lost/misplaced/damaged my original Certificate of Achievement. How can I get an additional copy of my certificate?
Email [email protected] for assistance. Please provide your name, the course name, estimated date of graduation, and city/state where you took the program. These are required criteria for issuing a new certificate so submitting that information up front will expedite our ability to assist you.
