Allyn Walker


Allyn Walker is the President of Business Innovation Partners, LLC, which holds the franchise for

Dale Carnegie in Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Tri Cities, Western KY and Evansville, IN. He

has led the team since 2001, resulting in multiple years of

revenue and profit growth.

His organization was recognized as Top Growth& Top Ten Market Penetration for Dale

Carnegie Global in 2016.In addition, they were recognized as Top Three Cumulative AnnualGrowth Rate in 2017.

Also, in 2017, Allyn received the highest honor for Dale Carnegie Franchisees the “One Dale

Carnegie” award recognizing his contributions to the greater Dale Carnegie global network.

In addition, his organization has been a finalist multiple times for the Better Business Bureau’s Torch

Awards for Ethical Commerce.

Allyn is a certified Senior Trainer with Dale Carnegie working for over 20 years with organizations on subjects such as Winning in Sales, Executive Presence, Experience Innovation,

Employee Engagement, Motivating Leadership, World Class Customer Service, High Impact Presentations and Sustaining the Growth. He has spoken to over 150 organizations and coached 1,000’s of professionals.

He is immediate Past President of the International Dale Carnegie Franchise Association, an association of over 290 Dale Carnegie franchisees in 90 countries.

He graduated from Harding University in Searcy, AR with a BBA in Sales.

He is a former District Trainer with Rotary District 6760 and a Paul Harris Fellow.

He currently lives in Murfreesboro, TN with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys reading, hiking

and Predators Hockey.

Kara Hankins

Nashville Sales Manager & Sales Instructor

Kara Hankins started with Dale Carnegie Training in 2012. Starting in the inside sales department, Kara quickly progressed in her career to her current position as Nashville Sales Manager. Since her promotion to management Kara’s team has achieved continual revenue growth, earning them international recognition at Dale Carnegie’s annual conventions.

As a Certified Dale Carnegie Instructor, Kara’s enthusiasm and experience helps clients reach their full potential and exceed their expectations both inside and outside of the classroom. She is passionate about sales and enjoys coaching salespeople to reach new heights of success.

When she’s not working, you can find Kara traveling, attending live music and sports events around town or watching her Dallas Cowboys play!

Hannah Braselton, MBA

Sales Support Leader & Intern Manager

A native Texan, Hannah Braselton moved to Nashville in 2009 to play softball at Tennessee State University. After transferring to play softball at Trevecca Nazarene University, Hannah graduated in 2013 with Bachelors’ degrees in Applied Mathematics and Communication Studies.

After having interned at Dale Carnegie in 2013, Hannah joined the Nashville team in 2014 as the office administrator. She now manages the Sales Support team and does the franchise’s marketing. In 2015 she won the Dale Carnegie North American Marketing Best Practices award.

In 2018 Hannah graduated from the University of Maryland with her MBA.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and three dogs.

Mark Roberts

Director of Instruction

Mark is the Director of Instruction for the Dale Carnegie Training franchise covering Tennessee, Western Kentucky, and Evansville Indiana.

Offering a lifetime of experience in coaching and developing business professionals, Mark helps teams focus on the fundamentals of team building and workplace communication. He was raised in the Dale Carnegie business, as his father owned the franchise in Central California, and Mark followed in those footsteps.

Mark has been a part of 2 internationally recognized Dale Carnegie organizations that have achieved both sales and operational excellence, and was the first director of Dale Carnegie’s Live Online training division, leading the launch phase of this division.

Mark is a senior trainer, and is currently being certified as a Master Trainer, one of only a handful of these trainers in North America. He manages the quality control for the franchise, and is responsible for the customer satisfaction scores for the organization. The Tennessee franchise is currently recognized as one of the top 15 franchises in the world reflected in the Voice of the Customer scores reported by participants of the programs.

As a speaker, Mark combines experience as a stand up comic with pertinent, fundamental truths about Self Confidence, Communications, Self Esteem, Enthusiasm, and Goal Setting for a presentation that not only entertains, but inspires. He has spoken to groups of all sizes and venues across the country at international conventions.

Mark also created and produced all of the video content for the Advanced Dale Carnegie Course used world wide, from the scripting through to the final edits of the videos.

Mark holds a BA from the University of California Santa Barbara in Speech Communications.

A training director of a large, multi-billion dollar grocery chain recently wrote: “Finally got to see you in action today. I must say you are impressive. Thank you for making a difference in our great associates. You are in the right role my friend. Looking forward to a continued working relationship.”

He is married to his wife of 31 years and has twin daughters. He is an Amateur Radio Operator holding an Extra Class license, is building a Pietenpol Air Camper homebuilt airplane and is a private pilot.

Sharon Garret

Account Manager & Instructor

Sharon took the Dale Carnegie Course in Nashville in 1984. She became full time as a sales person with Dale Carnegie around 1986. Sharon became a Dale Carnegie Instructor in 1988.

Sharon is on the Leadership Team for Business Innovation Partners. She is a Senior Dale Carnegie Instructor and is the Sales Manager for Business innovation Partners for the Middle Tn area outside of the Metropolitan Nashville and parts of Western Kentucky. Sharon has a passion for working with manufacturers and for working in smaller communities. Sharon is passionate about helping her clients reach their vision and achieve their breakthrough goals.

Latoya Lackey

Corporate Account Manager

Account Manager with Dale Carnegie of Tennessee. Latoya brings over 10 years of experience to helping her clients grow, develop, inspire and lead. She delivers measured results with each opportunity. Her passion to develop a lasting relationship with each client insures that she will be their first resource in taking their business to the next level.

Speaking to communicate a message that will inspire her listeners to MOVE is what she loves best. If you hear her at a luncheon, in your board room, or at your local church retreat; you are guaranteed to be moved to action!

Latoya resides in Wilson County with her husband of over 23 years, their son, and chihuahua named Bella. Her secret talent is that she loves to sing and play drums. She was also a youth pastor for 10 years.

Laton Key

Account Manager

Laton Key is a Tennessee Technological University graduate with his B.S. in Biology, Health Science and minors in both Speech Communications and Chemistry. He has been with Dale Carnegie of Tennessee since October 5th, 2016. Being born and raised in Cookeville, TN, Laton has always loved Nashville. Hiking, camping, and going to the lake are some of his favorite activities, along with skydiving, meeting new people, and public speaking. 

He was largely inspired by “How to Win Friends and Influence People” early on in his college career and has been an advocate for personal development ever since. In his time with Dale Carnegie Training, he has advised hundreds of business professionals to a greater level of success.

Logan Vaughan

Corporate Solutions Project Manager

Originally from Austin, TX, Logan has lived in Nashville, TN, for the last 11 years. Logan graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in December 2015 with a degree in Business Management and minor in Leadership Studies.

After reading How to Win Friends and Influence People as a freshman in college, Dean Hiatt recommended that Logan explore Dale Carnegie as an internship opportunity. Logan joined the Dale Carnegie of Tennessee team in spring 2015 as a Project Management intern. He came back in the fall of 2015 to work part-time while finishing his final semester and was hired full-time after completing college.

Logan is a member of the Reel Society at the Belcourt Theatre and a Big with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tennessee.

In his personal time, Logan enjoys watching movies, exploring the outdoors, hosting a movie podcast, reading books, traveling, and spending time with friends.

While currently in project management, Logan is in development to transition into a sales role in the coming months. He will soon be moving to Chattanooga to work in Dale Carnegie’s Chattanooga office.

Eric Abla

Customer Care Advocate

After growing up in central Illinois, Eric moved to Nashville, TN in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree at Trevecca Nazarene University. During his final semester at Trevecca, his on campus job became a connection point to the Dale Carnegie of Tennessee office.

In May of 2017, Eric began serving as a Customer Care Advocate for the Nashville Team, scheduling meetings, managing public courses, and supporting participants through their training. Recently, his area of responsibility has increased and he now supports Nashville, Middle Tennessee, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.

During the off hours, you can find Eric reading a variety of books, from those authored by J.R.R. Tolkien to Dietrich Bonhoeffer and everything in between. When not reading, Eric is sure to be found playing Board Games with friends, or binge watching The Great British Baking Show.
