Angel is originally from New York City and attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, graduating with a degree in English Literature. They joined Dale Carnegie in May 2022 after returning from living in Japan where they taught English as a second language for three years. They practice many arts including kendo (Japanese style fencing), various tea ceremonies, beading, calligraphy, and clothes-making. They also use their free time to write on various topics, both academically and creatively. Angel has found volunteer work to be an important part of their life and because of that has a deep appreciation of the Dale Carnegie principals that focus around making other feel important and heard.
