Manager of Instruction

Dan Parsons is a Manager of Instruction and Certified Trainer. He has over 20 years of experience and his Motorola Customer Satisfaction Surveys average over 90% "Exceeded Expectations" compared to an industry average of 75%. He is certified to teach all core Dale Carnegie programs, the Dale Carnegie Professional Development Series, Competency Based Development Series and Customized Corporate Solutions. Dan presents over 150 seminars and workshops annually.


Dan applies his experience in both the public and private sectors and has worked with government agencies and private organizations of all sizes.


Prior to joining Dale Carnegie Training, Dan was the Manager of Government & Military Sales for six years with USAir. As a part of his responsibilities, he developed and managed the relationships his organization had with GSA and the DoD. Dan also served for five years as the Director of Marketing and Customer Service for U.S. Airways Express. While there, he oversaw all customer service functions, including ticket counter activities, handling customer complaints and working with in flight service personnel.


Dan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Middle Tennessee State University, with a Major in Business Administration (Aerospace Management). He is also a commercially rated pilot with over 1,200 hours of flying experience. In his free time, Dan is a Fairfax County Auxiliary Police Officer and enjoys spending time at the marina on his boat with family, friends and his Golden Retriever, Max.
