About Dale Carnegie's New Jersey Office

Founded in 2000, Dale Carnegie Training of Central & Southern NJ boasts a vibrant team of 13 full-time and 4 part-time instructors, allowing for involvement and guidance in every phase of a project. Courses are offered in English, and the office's Director of Client Engagement and Corporate Trainer is additionally fluent in French.

Don Warkentin

Director of Training

Engaging, enthusiastic and passionate are attributes often used to describe Don’s presentations.  Don Warkentin is the Director of Training for Dale Carnegie Training of Central & Southern New Jersey.  He has been a corporate training professional for over 20 years and has deep experience in leadership development, change management, and executive presentation skills.

Don has a prestigious roster of clients including Johnson & Johnson, Wakefern, Bank of America, Colgate-Palmolive, Hapag-Lloyd, Celgene and Bristol-Myers Squibb, to name a few.  Don has a unique ability to connect with audiences of all levels and inspire them to be even more engaged.

Don worked with General Electric’s Healthcare division delivering leadership programs and served as a leadership development liaison.  He also worked for Shiseido America fulfilling regulatory development training needs and helped them certify to ISO 9000/14000 standards.

Don has a BS degree from The College of New Jersey.

Fred Walker

Corporate Training Specialist

Fred Walker has been a Dale Carnegie Trainer for 25 years.  In that time, he has delivered training for hundreds of companies in central and southern New Jersey.  Certified in the Dale Carnegie Course, High Impact Presentations, and Leadership Training for Managers, this full-time instructor hails from central New Jersey.

Fred’s primary area of expertise is in the Leadership Training for Managers program.

Fred is author of the motivational book Jump Out of Your Boat and enjoys addressing audiences with ideas to help them be more successful.

As a professional magician Fred often incorporates a little magic into his training presentations.

Fred has a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University.

Kelli Rose

Corporate Training Consultant

Kelli is a Corporate Training Consultant with Dale Carnegie Training of Central & Southern New Jersey.  She consults with business executives to review their business objectives, and helps both companies and individuals improve in areas such as Leadership Excellence, Employee Engagement, Communication and Presentation Effectiveness, Customer Satisfaction, and Selling Skills.

Kelli is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Sales Training: Winning with Relationship Selling, Dale Carnegie Course: Skills for Success Program, Strictly Business: Dale Carnegie Immersion Seminar, the High Impact Presentations Program, Leadership Training for Managers Program, The Foundation and The Consultant Sales Training, and various customized workshops and seminars.  Kelli works directly with clients to add value and maximize their ROI.

Prior to joining Dale Carnegie Training, Kelli was a consultant in the payroll industry providing solutions to meet business requirements.  She represented the oil industry that provided services for large scale oil production.  She also consulted in the B2B and consumer telecommunications industry.  Kelli is experienced in event planning and coordination where she developed the skills to lead, manage, and build a small business.

Kelli has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Monmouth University and a Masters of Business Marketing degree from the University of Phoenix.

Radia J. Carr

Director, Client Engagement & Corporate Trainer

Radia has been a corporate training professional and consultant since 2008.

She has been a top performer in sales for Dale Carnegie in all 10 years.  She has consistently been ranked in the Top 5-10 in the US and globally.  Some of her clients are in various industries such as R&D, Food, Financial, Manufacturing, Pharma and more.

Radia is passionate about coaching professionals to high levels of performance and seeing them transform in their personal and professional lives.  She also works closely with her clients to help them increase engagement & reach higher levels of performance.

She is passionate about helping others and raising money for MS, involved in the Rotary Club of New Brunswick, NJ and other causes.  Radia has a BA degree from Rutgers University and is a graduate of the Somerset County Police Academy.  She is fluent in English & French.

Wendy is passionate about helping professionals transform their personal and professional lives.  She works closely with her clients to help them increase engagement & reach higher levels of performance within their organizations.  She also collaborates with our Trainers to design solutions targeted to the goals and objectives of her clients.

Work Experience:  Patrick has 12+ years’ experience in the fields of consumer products, diagnostics, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals at Johnson & Johnson.  He is currently an External Operations Biologics Strategic Sourcing leader at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics.  He has 3+ years’ experience as a certified Dale Carnegie Course trainer helping professionals to further develop their self-confidence, communication, leadership, and people skills while working to reduce stress and worry in their everyday lives.  His experience in training ranges from human relations, conflict management, leadership, presentation skills, process improvement, communications, change, stress, and time management.

Industry Client Experience:  Manufacturing, Healthcare, Media, Banking, Pharmaceutical, Technology, Engineering, Retail, Construction

Education:  Patrick holds an MBA in Strategy & Leadership from Rutgers University and a BS in Supply Chain Management from Penn State University.  He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Black Belt focusing efforts on optimizing processes, improving quality, and reducing costs.
