Organizations today operate in an environment of rapid, continuous change. Changes occur through events such as reorganizations and hiring. They occur externally in the marketplace, through the evolving expectations of our customers, and through innovation. Leading through change is a demanding, time-consuming responsibility. It is also a tremendous leadership opportunity. Sales team members listen closely to their leader (even when the leader doesn’t realize it). Many leaders could be more precise in their communication skills and more compelling in their presentation skills. Leaders have a responsibility to deliver actionable messages and to check to make sure their message is understood. Creating a communication plan can help leaders and their teams SOAR to success.
