Interactive and Engaging Online Training

Live online (virtual instructor led) training has become the global standard for developing dispersed workforces and extended enterprises. But let’s face it, learning to engage your audience using a live Internet platform is a considerable challenge. It requires a unique skill set that combines using virtual facilitation and design techniques, applying technical knowledge, and skillfully delivering online activities.

This four-session program for developing Live Online trainers guides participants through a rigorous development process. First, overcome the challenges every virtual trainer must face in order to create effective learning experiences. Next, identify and practice the unique skills required of the online trainer. Lastly, design and deliver engaging virtual training by using Dale Carnegie’s 3-Step Live Online Instructional Design process.Through a series of collaborative, live online classes, self-directed learning activities, and real-time coaching and evaluation, participants learn to:
• Recognize the elements required to create a consistent standard of excellence for live online training.
• Create collaborative learning experiences for virtual class participants.
• Deliver engaging training programs while successfully managing the live platform technology.

This program is composed of four 2-hour live online sessions delivered using Dale Carnegie’s standard online training platform (Adobe Connect). Following each of the first three live online sessions, each participant will have two hours of independent assignments. The total number of commitment hours for the entire program is 14: eight live online and six independent work.
