JJ joined the Dale Carnegie organization as a franchise owner in 2000 and is a Managing Partner for Dale Carnegie Southeast which includes Richmond, VA,  Atlanta, and Orlando. In 2020, he became a Certified Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) Implementer.

Annually, JJ speaks to dozens of groups on the topics of entrepreneurism, employee engagement, culture, leadership development, sales and business management. He facilitates training and coaching to leadership teams in many industries including manufacturing, construction, engineering, technology, and various service industries.

JJ serves on many community boards including Past-Chair of the Relationship Foundation of Virginia, Past-Chair of the Virginia Council for CEOs, and Past-President of the International Dale Carnegie Franchisee Association.

He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Roanoke College and resides in Goochland, Virginia with his wife Samantha and children Ike and Millie.
