Gordon Hibbard was so inspired after taking his first Dale Carnegie Course that he bought the Dale Carnegie franchise that serves the Kansas Heartland, including Wichita, Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan, Salina, Pittsburg, Emporia and Western Kansas.

Prior to his involvement with Dale Carnegie, Gordon held leadership positions with Kansas Farm Bureau and the Kansas 4-H Foundation.

Since purchasing the Kansas Heartland Dale Carnegie franchise, Gordon’s team has conducted events for more than 3,000 people and several dozen businesses and organizations. Clients include the United States Air Force, financial institutions, farm cooperatives, social service agencies, utility companies, and farm organizations.

Gordon was raised on a Kansas livestock operation that his brother still operates near Toronto in Greenwood County. He graduated from Kansas State University with dual degrees in Journalism and Secondary Education.

Volunteer roles have included his service on the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board, Trustee for the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation and member of the Riley County USD #378 Board of Education.

He and his wife Karen live in rural Riley County, near Manhattan. In his spare time, he gardens, explores Kansas history and serves as a Certified Judge for the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
