What You’ll Learn
In this workshop we work to understand what diversity and inclusion are and how we react to other people we perceive either similar or different than we are. We will uncover the bases of our psychological reaction to those who appear to be different and learn tools to be more inclusive.
Why You Want To Learn It
Diversity in the workplace is increasingly a topic of discussion. Various studies have attempted to quantify the impact of diversity and the success of an organization. While resulting statistics and conclusions may differ, what is not in dispute is the fact that today's employees and their leaders encounter a wide range of differences when interacting with their colleagues. When addressed poorly, these differences may cause conflict and reduce productivity. If well-managed, this richness of diversity may create an environment of inclusion resulting in strong work teams.
How It Will Help You
It will help you confidently lead a diverse team and capitalize on our differences.
