As an Area Manager with Dale Carnegie, you are coaching a team that is actively creating new business with companies and managing existing client relationships. What does the “Day to Day” Look Like?

  • Coaching sales team to reach their goals and objectives
  • Pipeline development and management with the team
  • Conducting joint sales calls with higher potential clients
  • Account management of key accounts
  • Assisting on solution and proposal creation
  • Executing strategic plan to ensure growth and meeting targets
  • Liaising with marketing coordinator to align activities
  • Execution of public programs and delivery of corporate solutions projects
Requirements

What experience do I need?

  • Minimum of 5 years proven sales leadership or business experience
  • Successful track record of managing B2B sales teams

 

What are the “must haves”?

 

  • If you have worked in business coaching/training, we would like to see consistent billings and the ability to demonstrate business development skills and role longevity

  • A passion for developing long-term relationships

  • A successful career history in your field

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • A positive and proactive attitude

  • Drive, determination and innovation

What competencies should I have?

  • Able to manage a sales team through high levels of business development
  • Versed in a consultative sales approach
  • Strong coaching and development orientation
  • Competency with account systems, sales forecasting and P&L management
  • Ability to network – connections to the business community
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy –  High degree of comfort with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM Systems, Email and email management, normal web and internet functionality and use
