Hauppauge, NY – October 4, 2017 On October 18th Dale Carnegie Training® will commemorate its 105th anniversary with the second annual Dale Carnegie Global Day of Giving.  Participating Dale Carnegie business owners from around the globe, partnering with various local schools, youth clubs, and organizations who serve youth populations, will deliver leadership training to students and staff.

“Dale Carnegie is a company rooted in compassion – it’s at the core of our founding principles.   There’s no better way to help young people than to provide them with human relationship skills that they can practice over the course of a lifetime,” says Joe Hart, CEO of Dale Carnegie Training.  “Our global franchise network of over 200 offices gives us unparalleled reach at the local level.  We’re deeply involved in so many communities that it’s very natural for us to work with local leaders and provide programs to enrich our young people.”

The 2-3 hour Global Day of Giving workshop is personalized to suit the needs of individual local agencies, and will focus on one of three themes: Leadership Development, Stress Management, and/or Intentional Living.  The goal is to provide underserved youth and agency staff workers with techniques that will improve their communication skills, strengthen their people skills, and enhance their success at work and in daily life.

“The response to our first Global Day of giving was overwhelming.  To have an opportunity to help teens gain strategies for coping with stress or gaining the courage to lead – it’s part of our vision of making a better future for our communities.  The Dale Carnegie network of trainers is excited to work with young people and introduce many of them for the first time to the key Dale Carnegie principles.  These are timeless truths about human nature that can make a significant impact in a person’s life,” says Hart.  “To me there’s no better way to celebrate our Founder’s Day than giving back to the charity organizations that tirelessly support underserved populations every day.”

For more than a century, Dale Carnegie has enriched global communities by transforming the lives and career potential of people through human relationship skill building. Dale Carnegie’s thriving franchise network, spanning 90 countries, is committed to helping its local communities prosper.
