What is the X- Factor

The X-factor award is a prestigious EMEA region prize given to recognize the talents who contribute to customers through the creation or implementation of value-added journeys… Journeys which enhance the customer experience by adding an X factor, a “something” that makes for sales and delivery excellence quality.

Last year’s award went to the Gulf Franchise, Ahmed El Daly franchisee, for the “Mars” success story managed by Rasha Zeitoun.

And the runner ups were:

  • Sweden franchise, Berit Friman and Bjorn Hoglund franchisees, for the “LKAB” success story managed by Mathias Harenstam
  • Turkey franchise, Caglayan Bodur franchisee, for the “KOÇTA┼×” success story managed by Aykut Diricanli

Nomination Criteria

  • The sale should have taken place after the Regional conference held in  December 2013
  • A minimum sale value of $50K
  • Tangible results could be demonstrated
  • You can demonstrate an X-factor element to the sale

Why apply?

Dale Carnegie X-Factor award recognizes the teams who have successfully deployed programs, strategies, modalities, processes, systems, and tools that have achieved measurable results.

The franchisees who submitted cases studies will have access to all cases produced in EMEA region and can use them in their local market.

Selection Process

The Dale Carnegie team X-factor Award Committee is responsible for reviewing the nominations received. The Committee carefully considers each of the eligible candidates for the award with the following being the key areas being evaluated:  

  • Challenging client context & Sales person challenged the client
  • Creativity of solution / journey presented
  • Replicability of the success
  • Collection of data for mktg & sales purposes (Testimonial collection…etc)
  • Impact of the solution on the client's business
  • Delivery ROI driven (with tangible proof)
  • The X-factor
