The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET)

The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) was founded in 1974, for the purpose of improving continuing education and training. Since 1978, ACCET has been officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a "reliable authority" as to the quality of education and training provided by the institutions they accredit. Dale Carnegie Training® has been accredited by ACCET since 1978 and as a result, graduates will each receive Continuing Education Units (CEU's).
 
Graduates of Dale Carnegie Training® are eligible to receive a predetermined number of "Continuing Education Units" (CEU's) based on classroom hours as follows:

The American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT®)

The American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT®) has evaluated and recommended college credit for 29 of Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. courses.  Founded in 1918, ACE is the major coordinating body for all the nation’s higher education institutions, representing more than 1,600 college and university presidents and more than 200 related associations nationwide. It provides leadership on key higher education issues and influences public policy through advocacy.
ACE CREDIT connects workplace learning with colleges and universities by helping adults gain access to academic credit at colleges and universities for formal courses and examinations taken in the workplace or other settings outside traditional higher education. The Accredited Institutions of Postsecondary Education is published by ACE in consultation with the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). The institutions and programs listed in the AIPE directory have been evaluated by the recognized accreditors and were determined by their peers to meet acceptable levels of education quality. In April 2002, Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. was listed in the in the AIPE Directory. This listing in the AIPE directory means that Dale Carnegie Training® has been recognized as being on par with the most prestigious colleges and universities.
