As Dale Carnegie Corporate Solutions Trainer you will have the opportunity to coach and develop people from a variety of industries and business situations.  Our clients know they can improve the performance of their organization by developing their key asset – their people!  They work with the Dale Carnegie team to solve business issues and reach their vision and goals.  Dale Carnegie trainers are expert practitioners that impart the unique Carnegie methodology through engaging and interactive coaching sessions that ultimately impact the results of a company, department or team.

What does the "Day to Day" Look Like?

  • Consulting with DC project team to tailor solutions to organizational outcomes
  • Preparing and delivering sessions based on client needs and schedules
  • Liaising with DC project team to ensure the solutions are meeting the client needs
  • Progress check ins with participants to assist their preparation for sessions
  • Monitoring participant satisfaction during each program
  • Attending project update meetings with the project team to ensure delivery is connected to the organization’s culture/environment
  • Providing feedback to clients on any emerging issues
Requirements

What experience do I need?

  • Credible, experienced business professional
  • Minimum of 5 years real world, business experience in the "subject" area – strong success track-record
  • Experience with experiential learning techniques and understand the value of "learning by doing".
  • Extremely comfortable coaching facilitating with groups of business people

What are the "must haves"?

  • Are fluent in business level of ________PORTUGUESE_________ (language)
  • 4 year University or College Degree (requirement in the US due to certification)
  • Have a reliable transportation (***include vehicle if that is required)
  • Must have lived in the area for a minimum of 1 year
  • Bondable
  • Flexibility to work during the day, some evenings and occasional weekends
  • Able to physically carry projectors and other presentation equipment

  • High degree of comfort with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM Systems, Email and email management, normal web and internet functionality and use

  • CCS candidates undergo a minimum of 150 hours of in house development before being certified as a Dale Carnegie trainer.  The trainer development process is ISO 9001:2008 accredited and our trainers must attend a refresher event on an annual basis for their continued development. 

What is the compensation plan?

  • This is a full employment/contract
  • This role is typically compensated by the number of training days per month – generally 10 – 14 days
