As a Area Director with Dale Carnegie you are actively creating new business managing existing client relationships. You enjoy consultative sales and have a genuine desire to help our clients and their teams succeed. The following Area Director positions are available:

What does the "Day to Day" Look Like?

  • Pipeline development and management
  • Conducting sales calls with high potential clients
  • Account management of key accounts
  • Assisting on solution and proposal creation
  • Executing strategic plan to ensure growth and meeting targets
  • Liaising with marketing coordinator to align activities
  • Execution of public programs and delivery of corporate solutions projects

What experience do I need?

Successful track record of B2B sales in specific vertical markets: 
  1. Finance and Professional Services
  2. Construction, Manufacturing and Transportation
  3. Healthcare and Government

 What are the "must haves"?

  • Have a reliable transportation
  • Must have lived in the area for a minimum of 2 years
  • Flexibility to work during the day, some evenings and occasional weekends

What competencies should I have?


  • Able to manage through high levels of business development
  • Versed in a consultative sales approach
  • Competency with account systems, sales forecasting and P&L management
  • Ability to network – connections to the business community
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy –  High degree of comfort with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Apps, Salesforce.com, normal web and internet functionality and use.
