As a Performance Consultant team member with Dale Carnegie you are enrolling individuals and teams in our public programs and seminars and proactively responding to leads and inquiries. You will enjoy phone sales and have a genuine desire to help companies and their people succeed.  You will use a consultative approach and proven Dale Carnegie programs to meet the needs of our clients.

What does the "Day to Day" Look Like?

  • Building new business from within existing accounts
  • Prospecting for new clients and reactivating dormant accounts
  • Responding to incoming lead calls
  • Registering individuals and teams for public program offerings
  • Reacting to inbound web leads from the internet and converting to conversations
  • Liaising with DC project team to ensure programs are meeting the client needs
Requirements

What experience do I need?

  • Two years or more of sales experience – preferably phone sales
  • Experience in a professional service industry would be preferred

What are the "must haves"?

  • Are fluent in business level of English
  • Have reliable transportation 
  • Bondable
  • Flexibility to work during the day and occasional evenings
Competencies

What competencies should I have?

  • Comfort in selling over the phone B2C and B2B
  • Strong prospecting skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exemplary phone manner
  • Consultative sales ability
  • Computer literacy –  High degree of comfort with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM Systems, Email and email management, normal web and internet functionality and use

What is the compensation plan?

·         Hourly and commission/incentive program
